Style Collective is an online platform that allows our members to rent out dresses for a fraction of the retail price. You can browse our wedding collection and make a booking on any dress as long as it is available for your chosen dates!
You can choose to have the dress delivered to your London address or pick it up from our London address located at 7 Barkston Gardens, SW5 0ER. The dress is yours for 4 days! (If you wish to rent the item for longer, please get in touch at [email protected])
Return your dress with our prepaid postage and share your review on our website. Please send us any photos of you wearing your rental and tag us @stylecollectivelondon.

Style Collective is an online platform, however we will be having some events at our London address where there will be an opportunity to try on our collection.

Style Collective strongly believes that everyone is waking up to consumerism and fashion needs to become more sustainable. By sharing dresses amongst a community, we can increase the number of times a dress is worn – a much more sustainable way to stay on trend! We also try very hard to use reusable packaging where possible. You are able to return your item in the packaging it came in, allowing us to reuse it again and again!

Delivery and Returns

Our standard delivery option is through Royal Mail. If you would prefer to pick it up from our London address to save you a delivery charge, or if you are wanting something last minute, please contact us so that we can arrange a speedy next day delivery where possible. The sooner you reserve a rental, the more likely it will be available for your event. You can reserve a dress anytime up until 2 days before you want to rent it. This gives us time to organise a pickup or postage.

We have a 4 day rental period where you will receive your outfit on the Thursday and you will need to post your outfit back on the Monday after the weekend. If you would like to make a request for a longer rental then please contact us on [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate you. The rental price will be adjusted to reflect the longer period.

If you would like to try on some outfits in advance please contact us at [email protected] and we can book you an appointment at our London address. We try to provide as much information on the fit of the rental so you can assess whether it will fit you.

The delivery of your rental item will cost £4 and returns are prepaid by Style Collective.

Returning the item

Using your pre-paid postage, return the item to the Royal Mail drop off point nearest to you in exactly the same packaging you received the item in. We are a sustainable business and therefore we don’t like wasting any of our packaging, so please help u with this! Make sure to get a postage receipt in case the item is misplaced on its way back to us., otherwise you could be deemed liable.

Please post the item on the last day of your rental period. For example, if you rent a dress for a 4 day period, commencing on Friday the 20th of March 2020, then your item will be delivered on that date. You must return the item 4 days later and provide us with proof that is was posted back on Monday the 23rd of March 2020.

If your item goes missing in the post, this is essential evidence so that we do not take action to charge you for the cost of the lost dress, should you not have purchased full insurance.

Yes, there are. For every day the item is not returned to us on the agreed date we will charge your card the daily rate for your particular item. E.g. if the rental price for 4 days is £100 then your charge will be £25 per extra day until it is returned to us.

The care of all garments is the responsibility of the Style Collective. All garments will be professionally cleaned and steamed where applicable, before every new wear. Please never try to clean your items yourself before returning them as this may ruin the items. Customers who try to clean items themselves may be liable for damages.

Dry Cleaning, Insurance and Damages

We understand that accidents can happen, particularly at a wedding or another event. Please contact us immediately and do not attempt to repair or remove the stain yourself. If the damage requires a tailor then the cost of this will be charge to your payment card. If the rental is damaged beyond repair then the cost of replacement will amount to the agreed retail value (RRP) of the dress as displayed on the dress’s details page. Style Collective urges you to treat all dresses like you would your own.

In order to ensure that our items are safe and that we get them back from you, we need to carry out some checks to verify that you are who you say you are.
Once you have placed an order, we will send you an email which will take you through an ID verification process using our partner Superhog. You only need to do this process once before we confirm your first order and then you will be able to keep using our site whenever you wish.


If you have any concerns about the quality of the dress, please contact us straight away on [email protected]. Please do not wear the dress before you let us know.  We can issue a refund or exchange in the form of a credit note if you are not happy with your rental for a valid reason. Any issue must be identified on the day that you receive your item, otherwise you will not be given a refund.

No we are afraid not. We are a sustainable company and as such we want to re-use all of our packaging as many times as we possibly can. The garment cover is essential to keep the dress in its best condition. Please post the dress back in the garment cover.
